Residing in Minneapolis, MN, I’m married and have five children. I love exploring the city, good music (especially classical, jazz and bluegrass), reading, biking, coffee made with my Bialetti, Guinness among friends, and meeting new people.
An alum of the University of Minnesota and Reformed Theological Seminary, my primary theological influences are St. Augustine, Martin Luther, John Calvin, Jonathan Edwards, C.S. Lewis, John Stott and J.I. Packer. I also appreciate Shakespeare, Os Guinness, David Wells, John Frame, Tim Keller, N.T. Wright, Marilynne Robinson and Bill Watterson.
I advocate historic orthodox Christianity as summarized in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, and appreciate various classic Reformed confessions. Some of my broader evangelical convictions are nicely articulated here.
